Private Label Resales – rebrand affiliate products as your own
Private Label Resales, or PLR, give you the right to sell products created by someone else under your own label, or brand. If you’ve ever struggled with how difficult it is to come up with a marketable idea, private label resales is well worth considering.
Lots of big companies do this. Have you ever peeled a label off an aerosol can, only to discover there’s another label painted on underneath? Or have you noticed that some products in the store look suspiciously like another brand you’re familiar with?
Tires are another very good example. There are relatively few companies manufacturing tires, yet there are many different brands. Again, one company actually manufactures the tire, but it gives the right to private label resales to another company. Were you aware that most branded tires are not manufactured by the brand, itself? They are manufactured by a dedicated tire manufacturer, who then puts the various brands on for a price. Such branding is one form of private label resales in the “brick-and-mortar” world.
Another benefit of PLR sales of manufactured goods is volume discounts. Big chain tire stores can sell the same tire under their label for less than a much smaller store selling under a well known big name brand. Hint: When buying tires, shop and compare. Find out what the actual ratings are and check customer satisfaction. You might get the exact same tire for a lot less under a “big box” store brand.

For affiliates selling in the online world, there are a lot of products to sell, including a steady stream of information products and software. While junk products are sometimes marketed as the best thing ever by some less than ethical “gurus,” there are a lot of really great information and software products that are sold through affiliate programs.

It’s important, when selling using private label resales, to keep your initial costs down and to have a good source of more products when the market begins to taper off for what you’re offering. This can be really expensive. Often the person or company that created the product wants to make as much as they can, too. You have to be careful to research your own market, before forking over a lot of money for the right to private label something that might now sell.

Membership is free, with an upgrade option to a much greater source of PLR products. They offer extensive training, even for free members, so your best choice is to become a free member, start taking all the free training, and follow instructions! Wait until you start making enough money to upgrade, which isn’t expensive, anyway.
