Finally Achieve Real Success in 2022 as a Fiverr Seller
To achieve real success in 2022, even if you’ve never made any money online, the first thing you need to do is to stop doing everything you’ve been doing. Because it isn’t working!
On the other hand, if you have been making money online, keep up the good work and work on fine-tuning it. But whether you’ve not yet been successful, or you’re already a roaring success, becoming a Fiverr seller is something you should definitely consider!
What IS Fiverr?
The simplest way to describe Fiverr is as a platform to market your services as a freelancer. They provide the platform, the software, and the heaviest part of the marketing at no charge for anyone wanting to enter the freelancing community, or to change their approach to gaining new clients.
Fiverr provides a very well-designed platform to make it very simple to go into business – successfully. From your introduction, the headline for your service, to the sales page, messaging system, payment collection, escrow and everything a good, safe, efficient business application needs, Fiverr supplies it all.
Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. This means we may make a small commission if you make a purchase. This doesn’t cost you any more but it does help us to continue publishing helpful content – thank you for your support!
But unlike the many other freelance platforms out there that I’ve tried, and there are a lot, Fiverr actually brings in jobs – or gigs – orders that you have the expertise to fulfil and for a decent price. You don’t need to work for pennies! Fiverr makes it possible to make a real income.
Nothing is ever free
This is a fact. Nothing of any value is ever free. That’s because in order to make something valuable is expensive. And Fiverr has created something very valuable for freelancers!
Fiverr doesn’t charge anything to start using their services. In fact, they don’t charge anything until you get paid for a completed order. Then they charge what some consider a very hefty 20% commission, which they subtract from the amount the buyer has paid you as their share.
In other words, Fiverr takes $1 for every $5 you earn.
So, why use Fiverr?
There was a time – a long time ago in another century – when marketers who were “in the know” advised everyone to “build it and they will come.” Their recommendations were to focus on building a beautiful website with catching graphics and great ad copy. “Guaranteed to achieve real becoming a Fiverr seller they said.
That really wasn’t very true then, and today, it is just terrible advise. No one will ever find you that way! Your beautiful website would be hidden in the forest of countless other similar sites. It takes a LOT of work to get seen these days.
The very fact that you’re reading this, today, is proof that the owners of this website have done a lot of work to gain visibility. If they didn’t, you’d never even know they exist!
Contrary to what many snake-oil salesmen selling get-rich-quick schemes may tell you, it’s a lot of hard work and expensive to make any sales in the online world! Paying a company like Fiverr a 20% commission is cheap advertising!
But don’t take my word for it…
I am a successful Fiverr seller. Because I am a successful Fiverr seller, I have time to write blog articles for my own sites, as well as my clients. That means that my blogs are getting a steadily growing stream of traffic, and that means I can sell advertising for a really nice, easy, passive income.
I’ve tried doing it myself. I didn’t make a single sale.
I tried platforms other than Fiverr. Guess what happened… I didn’t make a single sale.
I put in a lot of effort – in fact, I put in a huge amount of time and effort – without a single sale.
But when I started putting up gigs on Fiverr, I started making sales almost immediately, and they keep coming in. I finally began to achieve real success. In fact, I have often had to set my status to vacation mode in order to get caught up! That is what I call success.
Even better, with Fiverr I have never – not even once – had to worry about accounts receivable or chase down a non-paying customer. That’s because Fiverr collects the total amount before the job even starts. Then, when the job is satisfactorily completed, Fiverr puts the money for the job in your account, which you can withdraw to your bank account, PayPal, or prepaid revenue card (my personal choice).
What have you got to lose?
Chances are, the only thing you really have to lose is the bad taste of working hard, having no freedom, and always being broke. But as a Fiverr freelancer, you can finally achieve real success.
I don’t think it’s possible to lose money using Fiverr. There is no upfront cost, and the only time Fiverr gets paid is AFTER you get paid. Furthermore, they don’t charge a flat fee like some places do – they charge a commission – a percentage of your total sale.
Work anywhere in the world you want
Unlike traditional jobs, including most of the telecommuting jobs that have become so common during the pandemic, you can literally work anywhere in the world you want to. You don’t even need a good internet connection all the time – just when you’re communicating with your clients, taking and delivering orders.
If you have a laptop or tablet to work on and reasonable access to the internet periodically, you can do this. That is REAL freedom! That’s how to achieve real success – where you don’t simply have the money to live – you live the life you want to live.
So if you want to spend time on the Playa del Carmen or trek the wilds of northern British Columbia or take in all the sights and experiences of Paris life, why not? If you’re passionate about volunteering somewhere in the world – anywhere – again, why not? As a freelancer who uses the Fiverr platform, the world is open to you!
